I love the directing qualities of this shot. The writing tells us to stop, the shadows and poles come together to make an arrow and point us in another direction, but when you reach the edge your eyes run around the frame and back to the top.... where once again authorities are telling you to 'stop'

So I see two sides to this code. The authorities and their rules.... and the curious people of the street, like myself.... not wanting to stop, but wanting to find more and see more.

And as you might have already guessed - shadows, lines, textures and text make my day :D

i think this would be even better if you flipped it 90 degrees clockwise....it would emphasize the graphic nature (just my thougths, I really like the shot)

i love how you find meaning in simple lines and signs that appear ordinary to most.
